Taipa Houses-Museum

The Taipa Houses-Museum (Portuguese: Casas-Museu da Taipa), often simply called the Taipa Houses, is located on Avenida da Praia in Taipa, Macau. Centered on five Portuguese-style residences along the waterfront road, it is one of Macau's popular tourist attractions. The museum formally opened to the public in 1999 and is now an important piece of Macau's built heritage and cultural legacy, as well as one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Macau; it is a frequent backdrop for wedding photography.
