Kent Ridge Park

Kent Ridge Park

Kent Ridge Park is a 47-hectare public park at Kent Ridge, Singapore, located between the National University of Singapore and Singapore Science Park. Thanks to its undisturbed habitat and abundant vegetation, it is a popular spot for birdwatchers and eco-tourists. During the Second World War, from February 12 to 14, 1942, the British Malay Regiment fought one of the fiercest battles against the invading Japanese forces on the park's Opium Hill — the Battle of Pasir Panjang. The park officially opened in 1954.
