Zhiben National Forest Recreation Area

Zhiben National Forest Recreation Area sits at an elevation of 110–650 meters, with a warm, humid climate year-round. The park is home to a rich variety of plants and animals, and its main sights include a century-old white banyan, a century-old woody vine (Aganope), and the Hanami Zhiben Herb Garden. It is an ideal destination for ecotourism, forest therapy, family activities, and nighttime nature observation. In recent years the park has upgraded its trail system and wood-education facilities, and has launched a Zhiben fragrance product series that carries the forest experience into daily life. Open a window and begin a beautiful forest journey! In 2024, a renovation of the park shop began, bringing in new visual aesthetics with a six-meter-long installation.
