Linkou Victoria B&B
The roof, doors and windows of this B&B are built from century-old Taiwan cypress. It was completed in 1934 and was the finest house in Luzhu District at the time. It was also where officials stopped to rest when they rode on official business along the old road from Tamsui Subprefecture toward Taoyuan and Hsinchu. The owner's ancestors were among the founders of Zhulinshan Guanyin Temple in Linkou before they moved here. Few houses like this remain in Taiwan today. Its doors and windows look like those of Fort San Domingo in Tamsui, and the house shows how people lived and built in Taiwan 88 years ago (1934). It is a distinctive building worth visiting. It has now been restored and redesigned so this old house can shine again! We warmly welcome guests to
