Mizuho Hot Spring Hotel (蜜滋賀溫泉飯店)

Mizuho Hot Spring Hotel is in Ruisui, Hualien, a place known for its mountains and rivers. Ruisui sits at the lower end of the Xiuguluan River and is a well-known tourist town in the Huadong Valley. It has Taiwan's only carbonate hot spring. Ruisui was once called "Shuiwei," meaning "the tail of the Xiuguluan River." The Japanese later changed the name to the similar-sounding "Mizuho" (瑞穗), and this is where the hotel's name 【蜜滋賀】 comes from.
