Nan'anshan Qi (南岸山．綺)

The whole idea starts with architecture. In 2004, Bi Bo Fei in Anping, a collaboration with Yuan Gen Architecture, marked the beginning of architect Wu Wu-yi's and my journey into building. More importantly, I saw a group of people working with near-obsessive persistence. They wanted to turn the ideals in their words and drawings into a new model of housing within the traditional construction system, and they often moved me in unexpected ways……… So my family and I made a wish to let more people experience something this beautiful. With architect Wu Wu-yi reluctantly letting it go, we took over from Yuan Gen Architecture Workshop in Anping, following Bi Bo Fei and Tian Tian Rong Hai
