Hello, and welcome to Yana Backpackers on Orchid Island (Lanyu)! This is the story of a Tao man and an Atayal woman. To keep the promise made to the man, their child came back to his hometown and put down roots here, building the life they had dreamed of for their later years. The name "Yana" combines the names of the man and the woman, Yawei and Hana. There are many more stories behind it. Come visit and they'll tell you the rest.
