Juandaiqi Rest House (眷待期休憩所)

Juandaiqi Rest House is located in Huangpu New Village in Fengshan. Originally housing for military families during the Japanese colonial era, it was later occupied by families of Nationalist soldiers after the ROC government took over Taiwan, giving rise to a distinctive blend of traditional Japanese architecture and Chinese ways of living, a feature unique among Taiwan's military dependents' villages. Carrying on the lifestyle and memories of the village, it offers three double suites (Juandai / Zuolin / Youshe). "Juandai" means warmly welcoming every heart that arrives; "Zuolin" and "Youshe" (neighbors to the left and right) reflect our vision of and longing for village life.
