Wanwo sits on an untouched ridgeline in the northwest of the Hengchun Peninsula, with the ocean in front and mountains behind, its building nestled among woods and grassland. The nearest village is 1.5 km away, and only a single country lane leads in and out. It is a little-known hideaway in Kenting where you can leave the bustle behind and fully immerse yourself in nature. Wanwo's wandering walls: shaped by Hengchun's distinctive downslope winds (luoshanfeng), the walls of Wanwo's three floors unfurl freely like ribbons. The curving walls extend to divide public from private, inside from outside, and architecture from landscape, and in the stairwell they even boldly cantilever outward to capture the acacia trees
