Dali Station Youth Hostel sits directly across from Dali Train Station on Provincial Highway 1, the round-island route. It is right next to Dali Tiangong Temple and the Caoling Historic Trail, and close to Daxi Fishing Harbor for seafood. With mountains behind it and the sea in front, the setting is beautiful. Well-known attractions nearby include Wushi Harbor, whale watching around Guishan Island, the Lanyang Museum, Waiao Service Area, Mr. Brown Coffee Park, Beiguan Tidal Park, the Honeymoon Bay surf area, Lailai fishing spots and the Old Caoling Tunnel bike route. Gongliao and Fulong are about a 10-minute drive away. With easy transportation, it's an ideal base for hiking, cycling, fishing, diving, surfing and round-island trips.
