How the B&B began... I wanted to go back to work but still be able to look after my children, so running a B&B in Penghu was clearly a great choice. Most importantly, running a B&B also lets me make many new friends. Once I had the idea, I started acting on it. First I had to convince A-Yong (my husband), because a B&B needs a house, which costs a lot of money and meant buying one several years earlier than he had planned. But he couldn't talk me out of it, and in the end we decided to go for it. If we were going to do it, it couldn't be an ordinary house. It had to have character. So A-Yong
