Jacaranda Ocean View B&B (蘭花楹海景民宿)

The jacaranda (Jacaranda mimosifolia) is also known as Brazilian rosewood. In bloom, the whole tree is covered in pale purple flowers, and its understated, modest beauty leaves a lasting impression. The B&B takes its name from a homophone of the tree's Chinese name. It sits on Taiwan's beautiful east coast beside the Pacific Ocean, with its entrance right on the provincial highway (near km 130.5 of Provincial Highway 11). Donghe Baozi, a popular stop for many travelers, is about 100 meters away on foot.
