Alishan Ge Hotel (阿里山閣大飯店)

Located in the Alishan mountains at an elevation of 2,274 meters, this is the most historic high-mountain hotel in Taiwan. It was originally a two-story wooden building constructed by the Japanese around 1918 and was rebuilt as a three-story hotel in 1982. With tourism steadily growing, the hotel was fully renovated in 1998 and added new facilities to welcome a new era of travel and improve its service quality.
