Jiuqiongping B&B (九芎坪民宿)

The B&B is in Shang'an Community, Shuili Township, southeast of Sun Moon Lake. Nearby attractions, including Sun Moon Lake, Jiji, the Shuili Snake Kiln, Checheng and the Xinyi Plum Dream Factory, are all within a 20-minute drive. The rooms have no TVs, to encourage guests to go outdoors and enjoy the natural scenery. Evening activities are offered instead: a lantern-lit night walk across the Magpie Bridge (the suspension bridge with the longest single span in Nantou County) and talks on Shang'an's tea culture with tea tasting. Together with the Daidai Leisure Agricultural Area, the B&B also arranges farm experiences such as tea, plums, grapes and shiitake mushrooms.
