Cape of Good Hope Resort B&B

Cape of Good Hope Resort B&B on Green Island has sweeping ocean views. It sits in the middle of Gongguan Bay (Gongguan Village), where Green Island's ancestors first came ashore. The early settlers first lived in thatched huts, then in tile-roofed houses with coral-stone walls, and lived simply by farming and fishing. As tourism grew, the owners spent years planning, then cleared the old, run-down houses and built the B&B over more than a year. It opened at the end of June 2014. To raise the standard of travel and lodging, and out of love for their hometown, a seventh-generation member of the Tian family came home to start the business and host guests. The goal is to bring new energy to Green Island tourism, so guests can slow down and relax in a quiet base instead of rushing through the sights.
