Chuyun Mountain Lodge (出雲山莊)

Dasyueshan is a well-known forest recreation area in central Taiwan. Chuyun Mountain Lodge sits 13 km along the road from Dongshi to Dasyueshan National Forest Recreation Area, at an elevation of 900 m. At the 12 km mark, you can see the farm standing halfway up the mountain. From this height, you can look out over the Dajia and Da'an rivers and as far as Taichung and Changhua cities. On the farthest horizon lies Taichung Port, dotted with ships. At dusk, watch the sun set until night falls and the lights come on, revealing a beautiful night view of the Xinshe Plateau, Taichung and Changhua. Dasyueshan works well as a two-day trip. Spend the day exploring the forest scenery and enjoying a forest bath rich in phytoncides, or hike Yuanzui Mountain and Wu'e
