Chunfeng Cinnamon Garden (春鋒玉桂園)

Chunfeng Cinnamon Garden is located in Zhongliao Township, Nantou County, facing Jiji Mountain to the east and bordering Jiji Town to the south, about a 35-minute drive from Sun Moon Lake. To live simply, the owners decided to build a farmhouse and pond on their own farmland after retirement. Apart from the building, every plant and tree was tended by hand, and there is of course a vegetable garden. Out of a strong environmental ethic, weeding is done manually, organic fertilizer is homemade, wastewater and rainwater are reused, and natural resources are never wasted. As a result, the grounds are rich in wildlife, including tree frogs, Taiwan barbets, bamboo partridges, and scops owls.
