A small stream runs in front of our home and hills rise behind it. Nestled between mountains and water, it is filled with the sounds of insects and birds and the scent of flowers. There is no urban clamor here, only green mountains, clear water, the fragrance of nature and the call of the wild. Here you can breathe deeply and let a weary body and mind unwind. This is a warm home for travelers. Taomi Community in Puli, a large basin of seemingly barren marshes and streams, is home to Taiwan's greatest variety of frogs and dragonflies and its largest population of fireflies.
