"Naruwan" means "hello" and "welcome" in the indigenous language, much like "Aloha" in Hawaii, conveying warmth, ease and joy! The five-star Naruwan Hotel & Resort Taitung takes its name from this greeting, in the hope that every guest will deeply feel the sincere welcome of all Naruwan staff. Taitung is the land of the rising sun, and its abundant, dazzling sunshine is our greatest asset! From the earliest design stage, the hotel was therefore planned as a "sloped-back building" with large expanses of clear glass to bring as much sunlight and the surrounding mountain and sea scenery indoors as possible.
