Zhu Ying Tai B&B (住英台民宿)

Zhu Ying Tai B&B sits between Hualien City and Ji'an Township, only a 5-minute drive from the city center and 5 minutes from Dongdamen Night Market. It is run by Paul, from the UK, together with his Taiwanese wife Sandy, which is how the name ("live in England and Taiwan") came about. Paul and Sandy met while studying in the UK and have lived in Taiwan for nearly 15 years since graduating, with stays in Taipei, Shanghai and Kaohsiung. To give their children more contact with nature and a happy childhood, they left familiar surroundings for Sandy's hometown of Hualien. The simple, comfortable furnishings were designed by the couple to preserve a homely feel.
