Jilufugan Art B&B (吉廬夫敢藝文民宿)

Jilufugan Art B&B is located in the Sapulju tribal village of Xinxing Village, Jinfeng Township, surrounded by mountains and facing the sea. As soon as you enter the village, you can clearly see a Paiwan-culture ball-spearing (cifu) art installation standing in front of the guesthouse. The two-story building is of reinforced concrete construction, faced with traditional slate. The owner's late mother (Hu Shun-li) was one of the eight chiefs of Sapulju village (the Skadu family). She personally carved and painted scenes of traditional Paiwan cultural life on the wooden pillars at the entrance, the main pillars inside, the beams under the eaves and the interior wall panels, depicting her memories of and longing for the old village and its everyday life.
