Bulao Hot Spring Resort (不老溫泉渡假村)

Long ago, a small tributary of the Laonong River continually gushed hot water from underground. Villagers young and old would go there to bathe, as it had wonderful effects on the skin, and they called it the "Hot Water Creek." About forty-odd years ago, the resort's chairman, Mr. Chen Liang-jian, finding it very inconvenient to bathe at the spring's source, used double-layered insulated pipes to carry the water over the mountains from the source about four kilometers away to the resort. At first only a few very basic bathrooms were built for villagers and hikers. The spring water is clear, colorless and odorless, suitable for both bathing and drinking. It is a carbonate spring with a year-round temperature of around 48°C, leaving the skin smooth and soft after bathing. Later...
