Ban. Ye (半。葉)

About the Ban. Ye building: located in the Junwangci section, in a dead-end lane off Jianye Street. The building was constructed in 1951 (ROC year 40) as an early two-story detached residence with a front garden. The exterior features traditional terrazzo walls, old-style diamond-pattern railings, and the original nine-grid windows on the second floor, giving the façade its distinctive character and preserving architectural elements of the 1950s. The surroundings are close to the former Tainan Police Station, the Tainan Confucius Temple, the Nanmen Holiday Flower Market, the old Taiwan Prefecture City, Koxinga relics and the Linshui Furen Temple.
