Huane Shanfang B&B (換鵝山房)
Huane Shanfang takes its name from the classic tale of calligrapher Wang Xizhi trading his calligraphy for geese. Just a three-minute walk from Chishang Railway Station, this three-and-a-half-story townhouse was originally a family home, and the hosts hope guests will feel right at home during their stay. The name comes from the whole family's deep love of calligraphy—especially the founder, "Goose Dad," who delights in making friends through the art. The current hostess, Xiaoshan, also runs a children's calligraphy class at the house, and the "four treasures of the study" (brush, ink, paper, and inkstone) are always ready for guests who'd like to try. The interior is simply decorated—no luxurious furnishings, but calligraphy works can be seen everywhere.
