Shouwa Design B&B

"Shou" evokes fresh greenery and quiet delight; "wa" (tile) speaks of heritage and origins. The building features a pitched roof, white walls, and Low-E UV-resistant tempered glass, with energy-saving design as its core—natural daylighting and reduced energy use (heat pump water heater). The open living and dining areas, an airy wooden staircase, and driftwood unique to Liuqiu—simply treated—turn the space into a one-of-a-kind installation. The open kitchen, partitioned yet connected, doubles as a cozy spot for a drink, while the recessed courtyard on the second floor and the front-yard daylighting give the house excellent ventilation and natural light.
