The beauty of Penghu will forever remain in our hearts. No matter how many years pass since leaving, we still miss the blazing sun, the sea, the fierce northeast monsoon carrying the scent of seawater—and perhaps, occasionally, that old ship captain. Because of this attachment, Ms. Liu, who runs several businesses in Tainan, always wanted to open the second guesthouse of her life in the place where she grew up. She wanted to share the beauty of Penghu with more people and present the stories of her hometown to everyone. So she gathered her cousin and friends living in Penghu, and began this journey of making a dream come true.
