Zhoujin Food & Stay B&B
A sea-loving B&B rooted in local heritage. Legend has it that long, long ago, the ancestors of the Amis people arrived here on five canoes, coming ashore at what is now Dongchang Village, Ji'an Township, Hualien County, and founded the Lidaw community — the only Amis community with a boat ceremony. In 1937, the Japanese renamed the place Zhoujin, meaning "arriving ashore by boat," and in 1948 it was renamed Huaren, though the Amis still call it Lidaw. Loving the sea and loving boats, we took Zhoujin — "arriving ashore by boat" — as the name of our B&B. Coming ashore is a way to set sail again. You are welcome to dock here and rest.
