About Erquan Lakeside Coffee: not striving to be number one—beauty lies in being at ease! The owners, a married couple, originally wanted to find a place they loved to settle down long-term. Drawing on his early seafaring experience and a keen sensibility for waterside living, Mr. Tian chose this dream-fulfilling hideaway on the shore of Emei Lake. Though Emei Lake is not large compared with other famous lakes, it has a unique beauty of its own, so the B&B was named after the humble philosophy of Erquan in Wuxi, Jiangsu—not contending to be first under heaven. It blends into nature... "Erquan Lakeside" is a building connected to the water, built in fair-faced concrete with unadorned walls, merging the lakeshore and the architecture.
