Yuanqi Backpackers Hostel

Located on Suehirocho Street in the heart of the old city, close to Hayashi Department Store, the Tainan Art Museum Building 2, the National Museum of Taiwan Literature, the Judicial Museum, and Snail Alley, the hostel itself is a converted townhouse from the Japanese colonial era. All bed frames throughout the building are made of solid wood, leaving a faint woody fragrance in the air. Inside there is an atrium with a small fish pond below, where the fish swim about freely—just like travelers who come here, leisurely soaking up Tainan's warm hospitality.
