Hongquan Hot Spring Resort (泓泉溫泉渡假村)

The hot spring water at Hongquan Hot Spring Resort rises from 1,460 meters underground, making it naturally purer and superior to nearby springs drilled only a few hundred meters deep. To keep the well pipes clear, every week in the early morning or afternoon the resort opens the geothermal well beside its open-air hot spring pool, sending spring water and steam shooting skyward. In the sunlight, the billowing white mist drifts with the breeze and reveals a brilliant seven-colored rainbow.
