The pumpkin of fairy tales is full of dreamy color. Pausing now and then amid busy life to savor a relaxed, romantic moment is a kind of happiness. After living in the American countryside for a while, we fell in love with pumpkins, with the warmth of a fireplace, and with a garden full of flowers and plants.
