Extreme Points Slow Travel Cycling Series

In support of the "Mountain-to-Sea Round-the-Island" policy, the administration is actively promoting low-carbon tourism, using lighthouse tourism as its core and re-integrating diverse cycling routes in the area. The program links the famous Mountains-to-Sea National Greenway, rustic coastal towns, and the rich history, culture, and landscapes along the way, aiming to build the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan coast into an internationally attractive cycling tourism brand. This promotional event focuses on Taiwan's westernmost point—Guosheng Port Lighthouse. Visitors from home and abroad are invited to ride along the coastline for deep exploration, taking in sweeping sandbars and sunset views while savoring local specialties and tourism experiences.
