Purple Butterflies in Flight: Maolin Street Parade Carnival

Maolin is one of Taiwan's most important overwintering habitats for purple crow butterflies. Themed around the butterflies' ecology, this street parade carnival opens the butterfly-watching season. Participants are invited to use costumes, formations, chants and parade performances to learn about the butterflies' overwintering ecology and eco-friendly actions.
