2026 Austronesian Wedding – Love at Dawu Mountain Event Series

Maolin National Scenic Area sits in the foothills of Kaohsiung and Pingtung. Five of the six townships it oversees are Indigenous areas, home to the Rukai, Paiwan, Bunun, and Hla'alua peoples, which gives the area a diverse Indigenous culture. The "Austronesian Wedding Event Series" centers on the traditional weddings of the Rukai and Paiwan peoples in the three townships of northern Pingtung.
