Valley Light Festival

The Valley Light Festival is one of the Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Administration's flagship events, held each year from December to January around Christmas and New Year. Light installations at Lishan and Guguan create a festive holiday atmosphere, drawing visitors to Heping District to enjoy the lights, performances, and travel, along with the area's hot springs, seasonal farm produce, mountain hiking, and indigenous community tourism. This year's Guguan light display runs from November 29, 2025 to January 11, 2026, and the Lishan display from December 21, 2025 to January 25, 2026. One highlight is the two trees in front of the Lishan Guest House.
