From battlefield heritage and Eastern Min culture to religious faith and natural ecology, each of Matsu's four townships and five islands has its own unique charm. This year's newly planned 2026 Glimmering Matsu series invites travelers to venture deep into the islands and rediscover Matsu's beauty through all four seasons at a slower pace, closer to the land.
