2026 Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village Cherry Blossom Festival

Held annually since 2001, the festival combines the scenery of Sun Moon Lake in Nantou with Taiwanese Indigenous cultural performances, making it Taiwan's first large-scale cherry blossom festival. It pioneered nighttime cherry blossom illuminations and diverse performances, sparking a trend of day-and-night blossom viewing. The park is planted with over five thousand cherry trees of six major varieties, and incorporates tea ceremonies, poetry, and local culture, showcasing sustainability and innovation.
