2026 Taiwan Lantern Festival Celebration – Yanshui Beehive Fireworks

The Yanshui Beehive Fireworks is a major folk tourism event that captivates all of Taiwan during the Lantern Festival, drawing tens of thousands of visitors each year. Paired with the Pingxi Sky Lanterns in the saying "sky lanterns in the north, beehive fireworks in the south," it is one of Taiwan's most important folk traditions, dating back nearly 150 years. Its purpose has evolved from warding off plague to festive celebration, and it is now counted among Asia's top ten festivals and one of the world's three great carnivals.
