2026 Taoyuan Longgang Migan (Rice Noodle) Festival

Taoyuan's Longgang area is home to ethnic minority cultures rarely found elsewhere in Taiwan, including the Jingpo, Dai, and Lisu peoples. To deepen public understanding of the Golden Triangle diaspora culture, the Taoyuan City Government has since 2011 told its story through the local specialty "migan" rice noodles, showcasing Golden Triangle performing arts and cuisine. The festival includes Golden Triangle cultural celebrations, Yunnan-Myanmar-Thai cultural experiences, and small tours of the Longgang shopping district.
