2026 Formosa North Coast Art Festival

With 2026 being the Year of the Fire Horse in the lunar calendar, the North Coast art festival takes "fire" as its central curatorial image, symbolizing the region's ongoing vitality, creativity, and revitalizing energy. This edition extends its focus beyond the coastline to inland settlements and river landscapes where mountains meet the sea, re-exploring the connections between the North Coast's culture, nature, and industries. Spanning the four districts of Sanzhi, Shimen, Jinshan, and Wanli, the festival features 7 artworks that use artistic intervention and playful storytelling to guide visitors to feel the pulse of the land in new ways.
