2026 Liudui Autumn Harvest Festival Series Events

The Hakka people traditionally organize their yearly rhythm around nature's cycle of "praying in spring, cultivating in summer, harvesting in autumn, and storing in winter"—a beautiful culture passed down through generations. Late October to early November marks the harvest season, when communities everywhere give thanks to the gods to celebrate the annual autumn harvest festival. The series of events includes the Bogong blessing and thanksgiving rituals, the Liudui festive street parade and opening ceremony, a themed picnic feast, Hakka food stalls, and a blessing banquet with an evening gala. Activities center on the Liudui Hakka Cultural Park and extend across the 12 Liudui townships.
