2026 Taichung Mazu International Tourism and Culture Festival

Taichung's Mazu worship is truly distinctive: the Dajia Mazu pilgrimage stretches over 340 kilometers, with devotees walking the entire route. Bringing together 12 century-old temples across Taichung, the festival builds on traditional religious ceremonies to integrate Mazu cultural activities from different areas, aiming to bring Mazu culture to the international stage and attract cultural pilgrims from around the world to experience the beauty of folk beliefs in Taichung.
