2026 Hualien FUN Summer

One of Taiwan's most anticipated summer events, the 2026 Hualien FUN Summer is set for a spectacular debut! This year, for the first time, the Hualien County Government has partnered with the globally beloved anime IP ONE PIECE, transforming scenic Liyu Lake in Shoufeng Township into a world of thrilling seafaring adventure. A newly built 15-meter-wide Thousand Sunny—the largest in Taiwan—will appear on Liyu Lake, Hualien's largest inland lake, joined by six of the most popular classic characters: Luffy, Nami, Chopper, Sanji, Zoro, and Usopp, appearing in giant form at various locations across Hualien.
