2026 Nantou Starry Sky Season

In 2019, Hehuanshan Dark Sky Park earned international certification, becoming Taiwan's first and Asia's third dark sky park. Since then, the Nantou Starry Sky Season has been held every summer—prime stargazing time—to promote Nantou's unique tourism highlights. Through hidden starry-sky spots, guided stargazing tours, and evening picnic gatherings at famous stargazing sites led by Hehuanshan, along with Sun Moon Lake, Shanlinxi, and Xitou, the slogan "Come to Nantou for stargazing" has become a well-known travel theme.
