2026 Matsu Marathon

Matsu is an outlying island of Taiwan whose terrain rises and falls far more sharply than mainland marathon venues, making this a challenge-oriented race. To suit the weather, the Matsu Marathon is held each November, showcasing local village culture, military battlefield landscapes, and Eastern Min customs to raise the profile of sports tourism. The terrain makes the race notably difficult, offering great appeal to runners who love challenging road races.
