2026 Hike Taichung

Important: see the Taiwan Forest Recreation website for trail status: https://recreation.forest.gov.tw/. Starting in 2025, in addition to the familiar Guguan Seven Heroes digital completion certification, digital certifications have been added for the Xueshankeng Hiking Trail and the Huanshan Hunter Hiking Trail (in support of sustainable tourism, physical badges are no longer issued). Hikers of all ages are welcome to join, get close to the mountains, and enjoy the fun of hiking! Due to recent heavy rain, some trails are under repair — please check the latest trail status on the Taiwan Forest Recreation website before setting out and prepare for mountain safety.
