Ceramic Imagery Toys - Liu Fang-Ru Solo Exhibition

"Ceramic Imagery Toys" draws on daily life, memory and historical experience as its creative foundation. Through the form of ceramic imagery toys, it builds emotional resonance and connection with viewers and, by revisiting history, brings past stories back to life. How craft materials can express cultural meaning when cultural elements are transformed into ceramic works remains a core question the artist continues to explore. Built on a wealth of everyday memories and imaginative forms, the works incorporate mixed media and diverse aesthetic elements for greater depth and richness; visually, the narrative unfolds through ceramic figures and animals that interact and converse with one another.
