2026 Yilan Green Expo

This year's Green Expo runs for 44 days, opening Saturday, March 28 and closing Sunday, May 10. The theme, 'Treasures of Inquiry,' draws on the concept of 'gewu zhizhi' (investigating things to attain knowledge) from the Great Learning in the Book of Rites, symbolizing the pursuit of truth in all things to gain precious knowledge. In an age of climate disruption, the expo connects with Nature-based Solutions (NbS), inviting everyone to help restore the land, protect species, and cherish the ocean—turning goodwill into action and moving together toward a livable, thriving, and inclusive future.
