Three Palace Sanctuaries (Kyuchu Sanden)

The Three Palace Sanctuaries (Kyūchū Sanden) are three Shinto sanctuaries in the Fukiage Gardens of the Imperial Palace. The Kashikodokoro enshrines Amaterasu Ōmikami, the Kōreiden enshrines the spirits of successive emperors and members of the imperial family, and the Shinden enshrines the deities of heaven and earth.
