Huoyanshan Ecology Education Center

The Huoyanshan Ecology Education Center is a landscaped building with three floors above ground and two below, with both its exterior and interior design inspired by the distinctive natural features of Huoyanshan. Located in Sanyi Township, Miaoli County, it opened on April 16, 2005, and is a rare facility in Taiwan dedicated to interpreting a natural landscape, with the mission of becoming an important venue for landscape-based environmental education. It sits near the Huoyanshan Nature Reserve in Sanyi, Miaoli, was certified as an environmental education facility on June 17, 2020, and received recognition from the National Academy for Educational Research in 2023.
